About the role
You will join a fairly new team which just started to build the internal audit function of the future and you will work directly with the Head of Group Internal Audit and other IA leaders. You have the opportunity to co-develop and apply an IA approach that is innovative, steps away from traditional ways of working and embraces agility and simplicity. You will be an active contributor to our journey of creating a better everyday life for the many people by providing valuable insights on the emerging risks that our company is facing.
In your role you take active leadership by partnering with digital teams and providing insights and advice that helps them in progressing the digital transformation journey. You will take responsibility for the preparation, execution and reporting of IT related internal audits that challenge and support digital teams in identifying digital risks and turn them into improvements, innovations, and business opportunities.
You share and live the IKEA culture and values, have a genuine interest in home furnishing and have working experience in European companies and similar industry (retail franchise, consumer goods).
You are a passionate and hands-on professional with a thorough experience in IT audit, IT operations and cybersecurity. You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in one or more of these fields of expertise. You finalized a university degree and ideally a post-master qualification in the field of IT audit (e.g. CISA or comparable).
You understand the digital landscape. You have a strong understanding of digital trends and risks including digital transformation, cloud environments, cybersecurity and data privacy. You are able to apply knowledge of ITIL, NIST, COBIT, and/or other leading IT control frameworks.
You are humble, straight forward and curious. You are driven by content and at the same time highly value good relationships. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to describe complex issues in a structured and comprehensive but simple way. You are proficient in English.
You are not afraid of doing things differently. You like to get to the bottom of things and don't mind asking probing questions if it helps to achieve the right outcome. You do not lose yourself in the technicalities of auditing, but master a pragmatic way of working.
You are a down-to-earth leader. An open-minded team player with the ability to build trustful relationships. You enjoy working in a vibrant and fast-paced environment and are happy to travel. You adapt easily and are able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. You like to deliver results by involving, leading, developing, and inspiring people in a remote as well as in an onsite environment.
This is a fulltime role (40 hours per week) based in Delft (The Netherlands), reporting to the Head of Group Internal Audit.
