Who you are

As the Remote Sales Manager you will enable an easy, unique and seamless encounter whenever and wherever customers want to interact with our IKEA employees in a remote environment (by phone or mail). Here for you will bring the following:

• Good knowledge of new technologies and how to use them to increase sales or add value.
• Good knowledge of proactive and reactive sales services in a remote environment (by phone or mail).
• Very good knowledge of digital and remote sales techniques.
• Very good knowledge of the contact center industry and in particular its sales function within globally managed organizations.
• Extensive knowledge of sales mechanisms and market activity (customer inside, competition, novelties).
• Holistic understanding of omnichannel reality and online customers behavior.
• Ability to overview the complexity of the IKEA business and the role of the Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP) as an integrated part of the business.
• Experience with change management in a complex business environment

Your responsibilities

As Remote Sales Manager you will strengthen Remote Sales in the country by implementing and maximizing the impact of the Global Remote Sales strategy.

• You will be responsible for implementing and adapting the sales strategy to local conditions to enable a proactive approach and practical solutions for our customers.
• You are responsible for the achievement of business objectives and results at country level.
• You will create new and complementary remote sales opportunities to drive growth.
• Participate in the RCMP goal setting process at the provincial level.
• You lead, mentor and develop the Country Sales team in the RCMP.
• You will build and maintain strong relationships with the Sales team at Commercial and the Group Sales team to share best practices and infomation and gain sales techniques.
• You will actively participate in regular meetings with outsourcing partners (daily/weekly/monthly/tertial) to support close collaboration.

For this position we offer an all-in salary of 4,000 EUR gross per month. Depending on experience and qualifications, an overpayment is possible.
